Rapid casting

With rapid casting, we can now offer to produce prototype castings in Al, Mg and Zn alloys. The technique is based on baking a wax and styrene freeform master in plaster and then melting it out.

The plaster form is then ready for casting. After casting, the plaster form is broken apart and the part taken out.

The advantage of this process is that we can in principle cast parts of the utmost complexity without cores.

This is a very good method to assure the quality of a casting before ordering for example a pressure die casting tool.

Normal lead time is seven to nine working days for one-offs up to a few parts.
